Andrew Postman is the founder of EquiNest, a platform unlocking homeownership for income-qualified buyers through co-investment. He holds an MBA from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan, where he studied American Studies and Psychology. His early career included service in the Peace Corps in Namibia, where he worked on community development and education. Andrew has since built a career in data-driven marketing at OMD USA, helping Fortune 500 brands understand how media drives impact.

His background spans grassroots service and high-stakes corporate strategy, giving him a rare perspective on systems, equity, and access. He started EquiNest shortly after buying his first HDFC apartment, after discovering how many New Yorkers qualify for income-restricted housing but can’t afford the down payment. He believes that ownership should be possible for those who’ve been historically shut out — and that investors can make stable, impressive upside in fixing that gap.

EquiNest is his way of bringing policy, finance, and tech together to make affordable housing truly accessible. Andrew lives in New York City and is currently closing on his own HDFC apartment. He is building EquiNest not just as a startup, but as a movement toward shared equity and financial dignity.
